Furniture Stores Singapore by Price | Premium, Mid & Budget Guide

Singapore furniture stores by price range are one of the most common questions we hear from new residents. Many people say:
“I’ve just moved to Singapore, but where should I buy furniture? All I can think of are IKEA or NITORI…”

Of course, IKEA and NITORI are affordable, familiar, and offer wide selections. But there are far more furniture stores in Singapore beyond these two. Styles and prices are diverse, and exploring them can be enjoyable.

Homes in Singapore differ in layout and structure compared to Japan, so choosing furniture and shops can feel overwhelming. Many people play it safe. But since you’ve moved to sunny Singapore, why not create a lifestyle with interiors that reflect your style?

Key Differences When Buying Furniture in Singapore

If you’re accustomed to buying furniture in Japan, the process in Singapore may feel different, especially regarding lead times, delivery, and contract terms. Knowing these in advance helps ensure a smooth experience.

Delivery Times

Most furniture is imported. Delivery can take 3–5 months. Even when in stock, trucks and schedules mean 1–2 weeks. Plan early if you want items ready on move-in day.

Advance Approval in Condos

Large deliveries require condo management approval at least one week before. Some buildings require deposits. Without approval, trucks may be denied entry.

Cancellations and Returns

In Singapore, a signed Sales Order is binding. Cancellations and refunds are rarely allowed. Check sizes, colors, and lead times carefully before purchase.
