Set against the backdrop of the Singapore sea, this home bursts with personality — a perfect balance of vibrant color, light, and timeless design. The client wanted an interior that was playful yet cohesive, lively yet refined. The design began with classic Scandinavian furniture, known for its clean lines and enduring style. To reflect the client’s individuality, we layered in art, accessories, and unexpected accents. The piece that set the tone was a bold blue Glas Italia mirror placed at the far end of the dining area — a contemporary Italian statement that added sophistication and edge to the Scandinavian foundation. Along the wall, photographic art leads the eye toward the sculptural Kartell Kabuki floor lamp, which adds drama and personality. A curated mix of rugs, cushions, and warmer lighting softened the overall atmosphere, making the space inviting and comfortable. One of the client’s favorite additions is a colorful console table that now serves as a joyful welcome for guests. The same approach was carried into the bedrooms. In the master bedroom, dark brown walls provide a rich contrast to the bright sea views and crisp white bed frame, creating a chic yet airy retreat. This is a home where every detail — from the placement of art to the glow of light — celebrates both style and individuality.
